Anastasija Gavrovska, Jonathan Fawcett & Thomas Batty Visiting Abyss & Haidecor Head Office and Factory

We are very enthused having just returned from an insightful and successful visit to Portugal to visit the home of Abyss, Habidecor and Celso de Lemos. Here at Jonathan Fawcett we constantly endeavour to visit our valued suppliers in order to learn the techniques and watch first-hand, the process all the products go through. Coupled with our visits to trade shows, we feel this is an invaluable experience, which enables us to make informed decisions and recommendations for all our projects across Land, Air and Sea.

Abyss & Habidecor are synonymous with high quality terry towelling products in a vast array of colours. Celso de Lemos weave and create luxury bed linen in different thread counts, finishes and colours. With over 50 years of experience blending traditional manufacturing methods and modern designs, both companies continue to deliver an exquisite product which is both stylish and practical.

The two brands share high tech production facilities close to the renowned Celso family Vineyard. Both brands benefit from working closely together at the joint workshops situated in Viseu, outside of Porto. The shared knowledge and approach enables full control and a flexible approach to manufacturing.

Working in close conjunction with Abyss, Habidecor & Celso de Lemos has allowed Jonathan Fawcett and the team to consistently deliver a quality product. Moreover, we are pleased to be a preferred supplier of the ‘Superline Towel’ which amongst other qualities, lends itself perfectly to embroidery.

Special thanks are extended to Mr Pierre de Lemos and his wonderful team who hosted our team. We look forward to the continued success of our partnership and to the new projects and ventures.
